Jason McAlpine

Jason McAlpine, Senior Vice President, is responsible for the Performance Materials business for BASF Corporation in North America. This business encompasses the entire materials know-how of BASF regarding innovative, customized plastics under one roof and is globally active in four major industry sectors - transportation, construction, industrial applications, and consumer goods.

Jason joined BASF in 2011 as a product manager in the Agricultural Solutions business. He has held a variety of roles with increasing responsibility within BASF including M&A evaluations and strategy, strategic controlling, marketing, and most recently, business management of the Personal Care Solutions business in Europe. Prior to BASF, he spent several years at Monsanto across various functions.

 

Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Fayetteville State University (North Carolina) as well as an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis (Missouri).
